We had a very emotional send off yesterday as we said goodbye to our current year 2s! What a fabulous year group they have been as we have seen them grow and flourish! He is a short clip of the song we sang and some staff clips!
We made it into the paper and onto the Curriculum Innovation blog!
We have just been notified that we have made the shortlist into the final of the Bradford film and animation competition. Here is our entry for this year!
Last Friday KS1 held a Geocaching event in school. Parents were invited to to attend with their children. The parents first had a short training session on how to use a Garmin GPS device to find a camouflaged treasure box. They then took their children and went in groups alongside other parents on a treasure trail. Mr Whitehead had a very busy day setting the trail out first thing in the morning and then collecting it in at the end of the day.
There have been many positive comments from parents and children so am sure this will become an annual event.
Last week the children came to school in their dancing clothes. Each class took turns to have a dance lesson from Mrs Worlley who is our resident expert! All proceeds are going to Macmillan Cancer Support. Thank you all!
